Signature size, pixels and KB explained

Start with the application notice
A file-size limit and pixel dimensions describe different things. “20 KB” limits the encoded file; “600 × 200 px” describes the image grid. Use the dimensions, format and size range in the current notice. An exam name alone is not enough because recruitment rules can differ.
A worked 10–20 KB example
Open the signature resizer, choose Custom dimensions and select Signature. Enter width 600, height 200, minimum 10 KB and maximum 20 KB. Open More options and try the synthetic example, then resize. The output must report 600 × 200 pixels and a size within the entered range. These dimensions are an example, not a universal exam requirement.
Keep the handwriting readable
Trim unnecessary paper around the signature and use a clear source. Fit whole image keeps the signature inside the frame; fill and crop can cut strokes. Inspect the first and last strokes after resizing. Strong compression can make thin handwriting disappear even when a file passes the size check.
Understand the reported size
The maximum is checked against decimal KB, while the minimum also accounts for binary KB, giving a conservative result for portals that interpret KB differently. When needed, a valid JPEG comment can bring a very small image up to the minimum without changing its pixels. This does not restore detail or guarantee portal acceptance.
Before uploading
Download the JPG, open it once and compare the stated requirements. If a preset mentions live photo capture, follow the exam portal for the photograph. Prepare only the supported image type here. Your chosen image and resulting JPG remain on your device.
